KMSYS Worldwide, Inc. Launches New Release of T27 Terminal Emulators

Written by, and appeared in 5 Minute Briefing

KMSYS Worldwide, Inc. announced the newest release of its T27 terminal emulators for Unisys ClearPath Plus MCP Servers.  T27 eXpress, Version 4, is now available.  KMSYS Worldwide, Inc., earlier this year, announced a comparable version for their UTS customers.

Based on many upgrades, users can now modify each environment to have its own look and functionality, including independent appearance, keyboard layout, script/macro menu and toolbar; retain most recent transmit strings between sessions; utilize more drag and drop capabilities in the visual configuration; control script/macro recording and management by environment; capture multiple environments to print and/or file, and customize eXpress application appearance in addition to environment appearance.

"We have four versions available, and we can pretty much guarantee that we have one that will perfectly fit your needs," Bob Moffa Jr., creative director at KMSYS Worldwide, Inc., told 5 Minute Briefing in a private interview.  "In addition to T27 eXpress Plus, the flagship product on which the other emulators are based, we also have eXpress Net for Web and network-based servers; eXpress Pro for customized Windows applications; and eXpress IT for budget-conscious consumers."

Moffa added, "There is also greater conformity to Windows standards, easier configuration at the environment level, and many changes to appearance and design to allow more ease of use.  There's a lot new, and there is even an evaluation version that you can download from the site to try out for yourself."
